Re: Colorado Rides
I am sorry for anyone who loses a loved one. It hurts. A lot. I can identify with your pain and will pray for you tonight.
As for tomorrow I don't know. I'll see how I feel when I wake up. I am a bit under the weather right now.

Re: Colorado Rides
Robert, my prayers are with you in your time of loss. I remember the pain when my mom passed away 5yrs ago and we just put a friend to rest on the 26th. As oldschuulbmxer said, "if there's anything I can do please lmk". I will do what I can if you need any help.

Re: Colorado Rides
Yes Robert that goes for me as well. I have met MATPatterson and he is a very cool guy. And so am I, I'd like to think anyway. We are locals. If you need something please do not hesitate to ask. I mean that sincerely. Of course we can ride anytime. We Front Rangers will all meet up one of these days. If I was not sharing a house I would gladly have you all over here as a "home base." There is a track nearby in Fort Collins. A nice one in a nice place. Maybe a ride does not even have to be in the Denver area. It's nice here too. We could all meet at the track one day. I'd be happy to coordinate that if anyone is interested.
You guys have a nice and safe New Year's eve (me, I'll probably be asleep by midnight, that's MY new year's tradition!); and Robert I have no doubt that there will be many prayers said for you and yours tonight.

Re: Colorado Rides
We could ride them around old Fort Collins, that would be cool. It is a very bike-friendly place. They would trip out seeing a bunch of old dudes cruising around on shiny old bikes!

Fort Collins used to be every 3rd ride. We would meet at Edora skatepark and ride over through the campus to the Road 34 shop. People wouldn't trip too hard, but the campus scenery was excellent at times. Fun ride.

Re: Colorado Rides
Thanks for the kind words guys. The day after Christmas I was helping my son sort out his loot and got the call that my dad was on the brink. We were out the door and on the way to Dallas within two hours. We made it there at 4pm on the 27th and he passed away that night. He was ill for a very long time and I just assumed for my last few trips back home that each time was the last time I would see him alive. Lots of people have gone through it and it helps to hear about those experiences.
But back to BMX related issues. I really need a f'n quill for a Pro Neck II. I bought one on the site a year or so ago and didn't mess with it for a few months. When I finally for around to it, I noticed that the quill was all bent to shiznit. That stem was the last part I needed for one of my cruisers. If anyone has Pro Neck parts, hit me up please.

Have you tried the couple of main resources down the road from you for the quill? You know who I am taking about.
